The Creighton Model FertilityCare System (CrMS) is based on a pivotal discovery — standardized observation of the fertility sign most closely associated with ovulation. This cervical mucus sign is charted by women for gynecologic health maintenance and couples use it to achieve or avoid pregnancy. Natural family planning (NFP) charting is taught to women and couples, and chastity (abstinence) is encouraged for teens and singles. Tracking various biomarkers allows us to calculate a more accurate due date, which can help prevent labor and birth interventions, and identify possible women’s health conditions. A woman’s CrMS chart can be systematically read by NaProTechnology-trained physicians.

NaProTechnology restorative reproductive healthcare providers can diagnose and treat the root cause of many women’s health issues such as PMS (irritability, breast tenderness, bloating, weight gain, carbohydrate cravings, cry easily, depression, headache, fatigue, insomnia), PMDD, perimenopause symptoms, acne, hot flashes, night sweats, low libido, hormone imbalance, irregular cycles, long cycles, thyroid problems, missed periods, painful periods, menstrual cramps, heavy periods, clots during period, long periods, abnormal bleeding or unusual bleeding (spotting), continuous mucus, chronic discharges, inflammation and infections, PID, STDs, effects of stress, abdominal pain or pelvic pain, painful sex, endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic adhesions or scar tissue, ovarian cysts, fibroids, polyps, PCOS, excessive hair growth, miscarriage, recurrent miscarriage, premature birth, infertility, subfertility, limited mucus, dry cycles, PPD, post-birth control syndrome, and post-tubal ligation syndrome. Special services that they can also provide include natural menopausal therapy, detox programs, and abortion reversal (for RU-486). Unique NaProTechnology surgical techniques are also available to treat conditions such as endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, and blocked tubes. And NaProTechnology may help in the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility and offers patients a moral method of seminal fluid collection for semen analysis. For clients and patients of Gianna of Albany, we use athenahealth. In addition, all appointment information is stored securely online in the FCPro logbook for reporting purposes. The Patient Portal and FCPro can both send appointment summaries. If you currently do not get an appointment summary and would like one, please let me know. I am now tracking my AAFCP Continuing Education credits in the AAFCP Member Portal. Previously, I recorded my AAFCP continuing education credits in Google Forms.

AAFCP Continuing Education contact hours can be earned from activities such as:

  • Note: Webinars are usually 1 hour long, so a single webinar will count as 1 contact hour. 10 contact hours = 1 continuing education credit (CEU). At least 1 continuing education credit (CEU) or 10 contact hours are required per year to either obtain or maintain AAFCP certification. Also, 10 contact hours = 1 teaching credit. Up to 7 teaching credits or 70 contact hours can be used in certification renewal to replace up to 7 clients in the teaching requirement.
